A realistic, speeding fireball effect created in After Effects, using Particular to create the flames, sparks and clouds. Glow, curves and other lens effects are layered on top to create the final look.

Originally created as a Dribbble shot for fun, the final comp is scaled up to 1080p, but the setup precomps are only 800x400.
